Already the organisers have had community litter picks, river clean-ups and planting events and will be carrying out a hedgehog survey with a number of volunteers this month.

Delivery of children’s activities – help deliver an exciting way for children and families to engage with Beddington Park. Xplorer is a fun family activity challenging participants to find the hidden marks scattered around the park. This event can only run with the help of volunteers. Upcoming dates: 31st May and 9th July.
Pruning sapling trees – a number of sapling trees planted by community volunteers in previous years now need a bit of sprucing up! Find out about tree pruning as you help maintain these trees for more healthy growth. May 28th

Conservation – Join SNCV on their monthly task days maintaining and improving the habitat of the Carew Manor Wetlands, or help the Wandle Trust clean up the River Wandle to help protect this wonderful piece of habitat – next clean up event May 8th
