Tenovus Cancer Care is launching a new ‘Sing with Us’ choir in Sutton to support cancer patients and their loved ones, at the Chapel in The Royal Marsden on Thursday 30 June.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop marketing, communications and research skills as part of a pioneering local food project and London’s most productive community farm. "We operate a VegBox delivery scheme with over 180 customers in the local area buying a weekly VegBox delivered to their home or a pick-up point. We are aiming to increase customer numbers to 300 over the next year, and you can help us get there! We are looking for an enthusiastic person with good communication skills who will work closely with the VegBox team to focus on customer recruitment initiatives," said a spokesperson. This is a voluntary position: minimum 1-2 days per week, 3 month commitment. A contribution towards travel expenses is offered. Some new golf taster sessions for young people will be taking place in the Park over the summer holidays. This is being brought to the borough by Community Golf. "Community Golf delivers a diverse range of golf activation programmes to inspire people of all ages and abilities to get involved in the beautiful game. We have been working with lots of different schools and organisations in Sutton over the last year and we are really looking forward to launching this inclusive Summer Programme where the emphasis is on having fun and simply having a go at golf!" said a spokesperson.
