Every Scout Group in the borough could do with additional adult helpers to continue offering successful, exciting and developmental programmes for our youngsters .
It could be behind the scenes fund raising, or supporting the executive with paperwork and finances. So all skills are appreciated.
"They do not need to be full uniformed Leaders, but might just help at camps or on outings. They may attend each week as a sectional assistant to a uniformed Leader. They may do administration from home, or simply some shopping. A new Challenge for anybody, but exceedingly good fun and massive satisfaction when a child attends his First camp, or sails a dinghy or hikes on Boxhill and really enjoys the Experience," said a spokesperson.
"Children in Sutton are currently unable to attend scouting as we have insufficient Adults to run safe, exciting programmes for all the children who would like to join.
"Can anyone you know offer a little support to help our voluntary Scout Leaders?
"Fully supported by training advisers and a Training Manager if you could take on a Uniformed role, but often your prior knowledge will be sufficient.
"Talk to us today and lets get September 2014 started with more adult helpers to support the wonderful movement which is Scouting.
