Reflecting the Wandle: Filming is now complete and the dedicated Wheel- house Productions team along with volunteers are creating the final edit. The film will be shown in a few venues in the Wandle Valley—Check the Facebook page and Wandle Valley web pages for venues, dates and times.
Wandle Flowing Through Time: Groundwork London have collected all their Wandle memories, these are being converted into an e-book and various art forms, as well as the recordings and tran- scripts that will be available on the Living Wandle Digital Archive. The art work and books will be exhibited at the Living Wandle event in September.
Industrial Heritage Recording—Treasure Hunt: The Building Exploratory are looking for volunteers to help search for lost treasures from the Wandle Val- ley. To get involved email the Living Wandle Team.
Catchment Plan: The Hackbridge River Restoration project is underway. The weir and tow boarding has been removed and a meandering channel is cur- rently being created. Volunteers are needed for planting which will take place 6-7th September.
Social Landlords: London Wildlife Trust are running a series of themed walks and talks for those who live in social housing in the Wandle Valley, the next two talks are on Fish Identification and Riverside Trees and Woodland Man- agement. .
Merton Priory Chapter House: Sand removal in the Chapter House has been completed and remedial works are on-going. The scheme designs will be final- ised later in Autumn.
Wandle Gateways: The Wandle Valley Gateways project is picking up pace, the Wandle Valley Regional Park Trust are going to be delivering gateways in Poulter Park in Spring 2015 . The Regional Park Trust are also working with Merton Borough Council to get the gateways delivered in Wandle Park, Colliers wood. Gateways designs will be available soon on the regional park website.
