The session will take place on Friday 29 January from 11am until 1pm, with guests welcome to drop in at any time. The coffee club is a great opportunity for older people in Sutton and South Croydon to meet and build new friendships with other’s living locally.
Mark Wilson, Director of Care for Triangle Community Services, said: “Friends of the Elderly’s research shows that 35 per cent of older people in Croydon are affected by loneliness. Through these free monthly coffee club sessions, we hope to bring older people in the local community together to share stories, memories and each other’s company.”
Venue: Selsdon Library inside Sainsbury’s Superstore, 130 Addington Road, South Croydon, CR2 8LA
