The next Buddy Training session with be Friday, 29th July 2016 from 10am to 4pm.
"We are delighted to be working with one of our dedicated volunteers Martin Faiers, who has lots of experience of training and supporting volunteers," said a spokesperson.
"This opportunity is especially exciting if you are interested in supporting volunteers who have mental health issues and/or learning disabilities. Buddies help run practical activities and are available to volunteers who need extra guidance or help with settling in and getting to know the farm.

Martin Faiers is a training consultant who also has extensive experience of how to support and manage volunteers. He co-ran a very successful supported volunteering scheme for people with special needs in the Borough of Richmond for 6 years following which he was appointed as the best practice advisor on volunteer management in Sutton.
Martin has also volunteered at Sutton Community Farm since October 2015 which has given him a full insight into the way the Farm operates and the volunteering experience.
