"Costumes, Headdresses, Rainsticks, Totem poles and Wind chimes will be prepared in March as they spend a weekend getting to know each other, before the wagons roll across the plains in May," said a spokesperson.
"The programme, while they are away, includes all the adventurous activities like aeroball & G swing found at Gilwell, but much more besides with Colonel Mustard the Magician, day trips out and a giant Its a Knockout course. Cubjam Radio will be broadcasting while we are there.
"To celebrate the 100 years of Cub Scouting the week will end with a giant picnic and fun fair after a wonderful display of all 1500 Cubs and their Leaders in full costumes and decorated Wagons on the lawns in front of Gilwell House.
