The title os his show is Josh Widdicombe What Do I Do Now.... Since he’s been away from stand up Josh has been working hard on other things but don’t worry in his spare time he has found a lot of minor things to get annoyed about, and now he has a chance to talk about them on stage (in the form of jokes). If you have seen him before live or on TV and enjoyed yourself then this is the show for you. If you didn’t like him then it probably isn’t. Come join us for this circus fun days for families and people who want to have a go at circus skills. Challenge yourself to do some feats with juggling balls, spinning plates, peacock feathers… And why not, test your balance in an upside down position; will your hands hold you? You’ll get a taster of what it means to be a circus performer, being introduced to some of the most exciting disciplines. The workshop is led by Jesús Capel, an aerialist and dancer specialised in straps, and a graduate of the National Centre for Circus Arts. He also trained at NOD in Turin and Escuela Charivari in Madrid. Jesús offers a gentle and encouraging teaching style, with attention to detail and clear progressions. Jesús is Sutton Theatres’ first resident circus artist. Following R&D period at the National Centre for Circus during which he was developing new circus skill combining straps and slackline, he will be developing a new circus show. Staying in the beautiful city of Salzburg (the birth place of Mozart), the young musicians, all aged 13-19 and drawn from local schools, performed four concerts; two on the outskirts of Salzburg and two across the border in Bavaria. Each concert featured Sutton Youth Concert Orchestra, conducted by Phil Aslangul and Sutton Youth Wind Orchestra, conducted by Roger Willey. All four events were well attended by enthusiastic audiences, who even demanded four encores at the last concert! You probably never saw the Mop Tops but Imagine…The Beatles generate the same passion, harmonies, and crowd reaction to transport you back to a time when Beatle mania really did rule the land.
