This story is less a theatre play and more of a theatre experience. “The fact that Sutton is home to an amazing 360 cinema room that can literally immerse an audience is fantastic.” Says Sheree Vickers, director of this production.
The cast have also spent time developing new skills in movement and were able to spend time with the company from the London production of ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time’. The award-winning Frantic Assembly were the movement directors on that production and it was great to be able to bring those skills to the borough for this production.
Adam Newbold, who has taken on the leading role in this play says “The lifts were tricky and a few times made me feel a bit sick, but once I got the hang of it, it was great – and with the films going on too it looks AMAZING!”
