Words Aloud Collective are a group of poets brought together through the Words Aloud show at Sutton Library, working on responses to ‘grandmothers’ they form group poems and individual stories especially for this project.
Grandmothers are the unsung heroes of our past and present, behind the scenes their voices have been invisible for years and now as the role of the grandmother changes in a modern world, it’s time to hear those tales and how they have influenced us.
