"Umberto Giordano’s revered masterpiece Andrea Chenier will be screened in Empire cinemas on 29th January. Conducted by Antonio Pappano and directed by David McVicar (Rigoletto, Les Troyens), this fictionalized account of the last few years of Andrew Chenier’s life makes its first appearance at the Royal Opera House since 1985. Kaufmann stars as the lauded French poet in this tragic tale of love, betrayal and jealousy."
