Paul Collins will take you through a very practical and hands on marketing workshop which will look at ways creatives can use a wide range of tools and techniques to promote themselves or their organisations.
The workshop will open your minds to ideas including “The Red Cow” effect, guerrilla marketing, social media, and the "Do’s and Dont's" to get your message out there. Paul has recently joined Successful Sutton Business Improvement District (Enjoy Sutton) after working on a range of projects in Croydon. He has had years of working with many small businesses and organizations including being the Chair of the Portas Pilot (Mary Portas High Street Programme), founder of We Mean Business exhibition and is now working on the Pop-Up Sutton Program as well as Marketing and Events in the town centre.
Paul originally trained in theatre and TV lighting and carried out his apprenticeship at BBC TV Centre before moving into the theatre industry with a leading theatre company. Paul has also worked at festivals, on low budget films, in art galleries and amateur dramatics so he has lots of experience within the creative industry.
