Following hard on its heels are two more workshops - on Fundraising on 16 March and Marketing on 18 May.
Funding is a constant challenge for arts projects organisers. The ANS workshop will be an interactive one, exploring the fundamental principles of fundraising, which can be applied to any project, whether it needs £50 or £50,000. Trainer David Saint has has over 40 years of fundraising experience, working in the not-for-profit sector with all types of organisations. He will also develop some on-the-spot case studies from among the participants to demonstrate how to apply his principles in practice.
On 18 May dance, theatre and film producer Gemma Lloyd will share her practical advice on promoting you and your projects in a Marketing workshop. Sutton Council’s Arts Engagement Officer, Joanna Steele is delighted Gemma is to visit the borough to meet members of the arts community: ‘Gemma provides effective solutions for anyone who feels that their work is not being seen by enough people,’ she says.
