The project will celebrate the people, heritage and culture of the London Borough of Sutton. Each entry must have a strong association with the borough, either through the production team studying or working within of near to the borough, or more directly through the film’s content, which should deal with Sutton subjects, inanimate or people focused. Genres can cover any family friendly area, from comedy to classic theatre, travelogues to dance, animation to interviews. Alternatively, the ANS organisers have thrown the gauntlet down to entrants, saying ‘use your imagination and surprise us!’

Arts Network Sutton and artists across the borough are sadly saying farewell to Joanna Steele, the Council’s Arts Engagement Co-ordinator, who is to take up a post with The Rivers and Canals Trust. Joanna has worked tirelessly with ANS to partner with the Council to upgrade the profile of arts and artists in the borough, since January 2014.
