IMAGINE 2016 Sutton's largest festival of the arts planned for October has announced that the aim of this year’s festival is to use the arts to celebrate the great works of H.G. Wells in Sutton’s libraries and heritage sites.

We Remember Joe COCKER UK is a show paying homage to a 50 year career of a great man and a truely legendary performer and is to be staged at the BoomBoom Club which uses The Gander Green Lane Sports Ground of Sutton United as its venue on Friday May 20.
Jack The Ripper is a play that is a musical reconstruction of incidents relating to the East End murders which took place between Friday, August 31st and Friday, November 9th, 1888.
A solution of Jack the Ripper’s identity is hinted at, but the play is an atmospheric commentary rather than an historical re-enactment, shifting between reality and artificiality, with characters representing “real” people as well as members of the music hall audience and players. All this is laced with memorable songs and humour.
