"We show films you missed the first time round: cinema classics, musicals, dramas, and comedies. Our large screen, powerful projector, surround sound and blackout blinds create an attractive cinema environment," said a spokesperson.
"We show most films with sub-titles to assist people with hearing difficulties. We also visit several homes for older people and clubs for people with dementia.
"Our monthly programmes provide a community experience with coffee, tea, ice creams, popcorn and sweets on sale.
"Admission is free; donations are appreciated to help cover our licence fees, equipment, films and other expenses.
"If you want to know more about our movies and the issues they raise? We invite you to discuss films shown at our afternoon matinees. We also share thought-provoking film notes with our audiences. Come and explore the world of the movies at Cinema on your Doorstep.
"All our film shows are in the Ruskin Hall, with screenings at 3.00 pm and 7.30 pm unless otherwise stated. Doors open half an hour before show times.
