On Thursday 10 March, four Sutton High girls visited Wallington County Grammar School to compete in a local heat of the annual Year 10 MathsFeast competition.
Prizes were awarded to the best team in each of five rounds, and Sutton High won round 2, a comprehension round on complex numbers. This was a subject that none of the girls had come across before.
Overall, the team came equal third out of 18 teams. King’s College School won with 77 points, followed by a team from Sutton Grammar with 76 points, then our team was equal to a second Sutton Grammar team on 73 points.
