Krtin won the Scientific American Innovator Award for his project, which came with a $25000 scholarship and a year of mentoring. Since then, he also became a finalist of the National Science and Engineering Competition and has spoken in many different international conferences. Krtin also visited the Google Headquarters in California in September where he stayed with other competitors for five days.
Krtin Nithiyanandam, one of the Sutton Grammar Year 11 students, was awarded 2nd Prize in the Google Science Fair Competition and has received international acclaim for his work on the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
