The camp, at an army training facility near Folkestone, involved a range of activities to give the new Year 9 cadets a flavour of CCF life. These included the challenging obstacle course, fieldcraft activities, fiendish command tasks and a night exercise. Despite the chill wind coming in from the coast, the cadets seemed to enjoy the weekend, and were led by the CCF senior commanders (Year 13 cadets) and Year 11 junior NCOs.
New recruits to the Sutton Grammar Combined Cadet Force, including cadets from Nonsuch School, went to their first camp recently.
