Thousands of pupils enter the competition.
"I was very proud to accompany Emilia and Tharini to this fantastic event, which was hosted by Munira Mirza, the Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture. The awards were judged and presented by Clare Lilley, artist and Director of Programme at the prestigious Yorkshire Sculpture Park," said a statement from a teacher on the school's website.
"The competition receives over 2,700 entries from 5,000 pupils so the girls should be congratulated for being selected, and for their brilliant success in winning the Sutton Borough Art Award. Both girls received prizes including art equipment, a badge and certificates."
