Commenting on the report Chair of Governors, Jane Pascoe, said on the school's website: “In 2006 we were informed that we were going to be the One School Pathfinder for the London Borough of Sutton. This designation required us to deliver an innovative 21st century education for the benefit of all of our local children, as well as act as a role model for other schools to follow.
"We are delighted that the inspection team recognised that the school is unique, has taken risks in pursuit of its exciting, inclusive vision, and adopted an evolutionary rather than 'quick fix' approach. Our emphasis on the fundamental importance of relationships means we are well placed to keep on improving.”
"Since releasing the report we would like to thank the many parents/carers for the supportive comments that have been made in emails, letters and via social media. One comment on Twitter particularly caught our attention. In referring to the report it said, ‘It may say good overall but what they (the school) is trying to do is outstanding. Keep on.’
"With the continued support of students and parents we intend to do just that."
