The school submitted two applications totalling over £600,000, to the government’s Condition Improvement Fund in the latest round of bids and both were approved.
Over the summer the school will be replacing the roof of ‘F block’ which is in need of total replacement and also re-modelling the whole upstairs of ‘D’ block to create a through corridor with eight classrooms. This work will be carried out during the last part of the summer term and over the summer break. Both projects should be completed for the start of the Autumn Term.
The new building is still going well and the aim is to have use of the dining room and sports hall after May half term.
