Travelling up to the iconic London museum adorned with the flora and fauna of the world, they were greeted by the famous diplodocus in the entrance gallery and the imposing staircase that is presided over by the naturalist Charles Darwin.
In the mammals’ gallery, pupils sketched a life-drawing of their favourite specimen. On to the volcanoes and earthquakes where pupils experienced a Japanese earthquake and located the most dangerous volcanoes of the world. All were interested to see how humans have evolved over the years and were fascinated by the small heads and ape-like features of the early hominids.
