Residents of the South Sutton have been reminded by the police how important their contribution is when it comes to keeping homes and property in the area safe.
"Many of us know our streets and the time our neighbours’ depart and return from work and therefore when their property is likely to be empty or occupied. Call us on 999 immediately if you:
- see anyone you don’t recognise acting suspiciously near your own or your neighbours’ properties
- hear an unexpected loud bang or series of bangs or smashing glass from next door when you know the occupiers are away," said a spokesperson.
