Older people in Wallington have been left without their 'golden-oldie' films and programmes after their big screen TV was stolen from their day care centre at Cloverdale Court, Stanley Park Road.
The 50in plasma TV was stolen from Triangle Day Care Wallington along with an Apple TV media box and DVD player in an overnight burglary on 21-22 November 2015.

The crime left the group, which has an average age of 86, without their favourite TV programmes, films and sing-a-long numbers throughout the run up to Christmas and over the entire festive period.
To help restore this much-loved activity, the Met Police in Sutton has teamed up with Triangle Community Services, a subsidiary of national charity Friends of the Elderly, which runs the centre, to appeal to the public to see if anyone is able to donate a big screen TV and Apple TV media box.
Wendy Carpenter, Manager of Triangle Day Care Wallington, explained that care assistants would hook up their iPads to the Apple TV media box to screen a variety of programmes to support service users living with dementia.
This could range from documentaries about London and fashion in the 1950s-60s through to TV programmes like The Sweeney, Open All Hours and their most popular show - Sunday Night at the London Palladium.
Wendy said: "The majority of our service users are living with some form of dementia. The programmes enable them to reminisce and relive days from their past whilst relaxing and waiting for their transport home at the end of the afternoon. The group really enjoys these sessions and have missed them over the festive period."
Sutton's pro-active crime squad is investigating the burglary. Officers have recovered a camera which was also stolen in the burglary and are actively following up a number of lines of enquiry.
PC Sam Hart, of Sutton's crime squad, said: "They are such lovely people who run and attend that day centre, that we want to urge anyone who is in a position to help to come forward and help this group."
The day centre is within sheltered Housing Scheme managed by Sutton Housing Society. If you can help donate a big screen TV or Apple media box, please contact Friends of the Elderly on 020 7881 1151.
