This is the comedian's first ever stand-up tour to Sutton and it will be at The Secombe on 27th April,
"Loads of comedians wring themselves dry trying to make the leap from circuit act to an actual touring entity, but for this debut tour I feel like the stars have aligned... The show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award at the 2015 Edinburgh fringe festival, just as I heard that my "Comedian's Comedian" podcast had hit 4,000,000 downloads!" said Stu.
"In my podcast I interview famous comics from to Matt Lucas to Sarah Millican, in depth about their creative process. I've cultivated a huge following including loads of TV names, who all want to know how other comics write their jokes. It's certainly helped me unlock the secrets of stand-up, and in 2015 I started making waves, with appearances on "Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled" and at the LA Podfest in Los Angeles, and Montreal's "Just For Laugh's" comedy festival.
"The comedy show I'm bringing to Laughing Coyote at Sutton Theatres is my fifth hour, and I'm really proud of it; no gimmicks, no powerpoint, no voyage of discovery, just "an hour of quietly perfect standup" (***** Edinburgh Festivals Magazine) by someone who "makes it look easy" (**** Chortle). It's bursting with jokes about people who run to work, Wagamama noodles, crying babies, posh coffee, Jack Reacher novels and even dementia, but there's also secretly a message if you squint!
