This charity has been established for 40 years and is located within Beddington Park.," said a spokesperson.
"The ethos of the league is football for all. So, regardless as to whether a child has had previous experience or no experience at all, we aim to take on every child that applies. We then teach the children the sport of football as well as respect and sportsmanship.
"We have 48 unpaid volunteers who give their time freely and who participate in various courses to enable us to provide the best education we can in the sport of football. We have a number of FA Level one coaches, Welfare Officers and first aiders to name a few.
"We also encourage youngsters to join us in the role of referees and place these youngsters on FA referee courses paid for by the charity.
"We are a very proactive and friendly league and like to welcome all who come to us whether they be players or volunteers. Our league enables children to play football and have fun for a small donation whereby at other clubs they may not be able to afford the expensive fees or not be deemed good enough to make the squad. At Wallington every child is equal and given the same opportunities regardless of skills.
"This completely follows our ethos of “football for all”."
