After a bright start, we were rocked back when Hartley took the lead on 17 minutes when a long free kick missed everybody and ended up in the back of the net. Chances came and went for both sides, before Hartley increased their lead just before the break.
The reserves picked up a 4-1 win over Tooting Bec at a blustery Hannibal Way this afternoon. Well done to Donny and the lads, writes Gary Brigden.
Goals were spread around the side, with Michael Debrah, Cameron Gyeabour, Joses Menenes and Edgar Morais all finding the target.
This was our first win over Tooting Bec since 19 October 2013, so we had four straight defeats in between wins.
Elsewhere in the division, there were wins for AFC Spelthorne Sports, Sheerwater and Worcester Park, whilst Warlingham's draw at Battersea Ironsides must surely have ended the title hopes.
