A mad 15 minute spell at the start of the second half ended any hopes of Sutton Common Rovers first team had of picking up points against high flying Epsom & Ewell, writes Gary Brigden
A dour first half, with few chances to either side - Liam Holden curled an effort over for us, and Anson Cousins hooked a Kyle Hough effort off the line for Epsom, was pretty much the sum of the attacking moments.
Three goals in the first ten minutes put us behind the eight ball, and left us chasing the game. We pulled one back late through Arnold Okiror, but it was too little too late and we slumped to a third successive league defeat.
Two goals from Kieran McLeary, plus one each from Cameron Gyeabour and David Takui gave the reserves a 4-2 win over AFC Spelthorne Sports.
The result has seen the reserves move onto 17 points, and pull themselves away from the foot of the table.
