Having lost the toss again Beddington skipper was asked to bat. The regular opening pair of Antony Down and David White set about giving Beddington a good start but alas Down played on to Sohi and departed for 1 and the score on 8. In came skipper Simon Lewis and soon followed Down when he gave bowler Smith a catch which he duly took and departed for 3.
After Tea the Sunbury opening pair of John Maunders and Sean Ventham looked to chase the target down but in the 4th over Ventham was bowled by Bevan for 2. This brought in Adam London to join Maunders and chase this target down. A bowling change was made and Jack Rogerson and in the 14th over he had London adjudged LBW for 19. In the 20th over he had further success in bowling Burgess for 9 leaving Sunbury on 78 for 3. Rogerson added the further wicket of Bedi by having him stumped by White for 12 to finish with figures of 3 for 52 off his ten overs. The further wicket of Roland Jones off the bowling of Cummins gave Beddington a bowling point but Maunders saw Sunbury home in the 38th over with an unbeaten 68.
