This season Staines have, like a number of sides, found consistency hard to come by, with three wins and four defeats leaving them currently in 15th place. Unlike last season, when they were strong at Wheatsheaf Park, they have lost three of their four games there, although the one win was against current leaders Boreham Wood, but away from home they have won at Whitehawk and Chelmsford, and lost at Havant. As usual, Louie Theophanous can be expected to be the danger man tomorrow, while manager Marcus Gayle has this week added Brendan Kiernan, a member of Bromley's squad last season, to his line-up.
Sutton reported no fresh injury concerns after the game at Whitehawk, and Dale Binns, who would have missed Tuesday's game anyway as his wife gave birth to a daughter, has an outside chance of recovering from his ankle injury to return to the squad, although manager Paul Doswell feels that next Saturday's game at Ebbsfleet is a more likely return date.
This Saturday also sees the launch of the club's matchday catering, now called Jenny's Kitchen. As well as a few exciting new menu items, to mark the launch there will also be new cuddly Jenny The Giraffe toys for sale, just £2 each, with proceeeds going to St Raphael's Hospice. The toys will be on sale from the servery or the boardroom.
