"I will be near Greggs in the High Street in Wallington on Saturday 13th December from 10h00 to 12h00 to listen and learn more about residents’ experiences in accessing mental health support," said Tom Brake.
"I am determined to tackle mental health stigma and ensure people can access the help and support they need. We are introducing the first-ever waiting time standards for mental health treatment next year – which charities have described as a watershed moment.
"But there is still more to do. Unfortunately, mental health services often lose out locally in allocating funding. That’s why Lib Dems in Government are pledging an extra £1 billion a year for the NHS in the next parliament, with half a billion dedicated to improving mental health care."
