Sophie, who sadly passed away in May 2016, spent time at Aquarius Ward had admired the “remarkable dedication and care of the staff” that had looked after her. Sophie’s family wanted to honour her wishes by supporting the Trust’s Charity to help other young people going through the same experiences.
The South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust Charitable Fund is receiving generous public support after the family of a former patient launched a remarkable fundraising campaign calling for donations to be used for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Aquarius Ward at Springfield Hospital.
