Three males, aged in their late teens, who pulled up in a vehicle outside the raided address, were stopped by police and were searched. A quantity of suspected cannabis and suspected cocaine was found inside the vehicle. All three males were arrested for possession of an offensive weapon – a metal bar – and for possession with intent to supply drugs.
At the same time that officers entered the address in Carew Road, officers executed a further five warrants on residential addresses on the Roundshaw estate. There were no arrests at these addresses.
All four males have been bailed to November pending further enquiries.
The operation was led by Safer Neighbourhoods Teams in Sutton supported by drugs dog units and the Met’s Territorial Support Group. The operation’s purpose was to stop and disrupt drugs activities in the borough.
Police were acting on information received from the local community.
