A hand drawn Treasures Map has been produced by artist Stephanie Theobald; a unique artwork celebrating the remarkable history of the River Wandle, which passes through the London boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton and Wandsworth before flowing into the Thames. Measuring two metres in length, the map depicts more than 50 heritage treasures uncovered by the 25 local volunteers.
They need your help now! This is an all or nothing fundraising campaign - meaning that if the full target amount of £4,200 is not reached by the final day of the crowdfunding period on 12 July 2016, the project will not be funded. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will ensure that the total is reached in time.
As a thank you for supporting the campaign, backers will receive a little piece of the map for themselves, in the form of postcards and high quality lithograph style prints featuring some of the most beautiful illustrations in the Treasures Map.
