‘1914 and All That’
A talk by Amanda Hill
11.30am-12.30pm Free admission
Two thirds of 1914 was peaceful, but the year has come down to us as the ultimate signal of war. So much excellent coverage of Sarajevo and after, has been assembled for by book and by film, but I have put together little stories and forgotten facts, international, national and even parochial, to give a picture of the year as a whole.
