Guests from SHP’s sheltered housing schemes throughout the borough were brought together for a shared celebration. This gave everyone the chance to meet residents from other schemes and allowed those with limited mobility the opportunity to socialise and see some new faces.
There was plenty of food, drinks and a Christmas sing-a-long lead by special guest performer Pauline Gibson, mixing it up some old classics and a few modern hits to get everyone on their feet.
SHP’s Chief Executive, Andrew Taylor who attended the event and helped with the special Christmas hamper raffle said: “This was a great chance to catch up with some of our older residents and take part in their Christmas celebrations. I’d like to wish all residents a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
