Worried about not being able to get your library books renewed and incurring a fine - don't worry Sutton Council has just listed the various ways of keeping your books without incurring a charge.
Whether its by phone
All items except DVDs may be renewed up to three times unless they are reserved or you have reached your fines/charges limit.
Via the Internet:
Using the Library Catalogue/Renew Items (iBistro).
You will require your Library User ID from your library card, and your PIN to log in and renew item loans.
Using the BookMyne iPhone and Android smartphone app.
You will need to download the free app from the relevant app market for your phone and locate your library from the app.
You will require your Library User ID from your library card, and your PIN to log in and renew item loans.
Using the Social Media Library Facebook application.
To use this you will need to select the Facebook page for any Sutton library. You may do this by either searching for the library or by selecting the Facebook link from the relevant library web page. These pages are listed on the individual library pages available from the Find your Local Library page.
One on a library Facebook page, select the "Search the Library Catalogue".
You will require your Library User ID from your library card, and your PIN to log in and renew item loans.

At your Local Library
•use one of our public PCs, or a Catalogue + kiosk
•use one of our Self-Service machines, where available, to renew some of your items
•ask at the Customer Services Desk and one of our staff will renew them for you
