All the family can head to Hackbridge station car park tonight (Saturday 30 August) where a pop-up cinema will be showing the John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John classic.
It’s the latest free event in this summer’s Heart of Hackbridge programme supported by the Mayor of London as part of the Summer of High Streets Celebrations.
Hackbridge town centre is being regenerated as part of a £1m scheme to support local businesses and local community groups.
Other successful community events so far have included a farmers’ market and a festival.
The fun on Saturday starts at 8:30pm but space will be limited and residents are urged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
Councillor Jayne McCoy, Chair of the Housing, Economy & Business Committee, said:
“This is a fun way for everyone to get together and enjoy what’s been a really great summer. This is a really imaginative community event and residents won’t have to travel far to have a great night out.”
