He was handed to a member of the public in the street by someone who said they couldn't care for him anymore. It was late at night and as the person he was given to couldn't keep him, an Inspector from another area was called out to deal with the call and Alfie was taken to Putney hospital.
As it turned out he was chipped to an address in Sutton. Our inspector has been to the address only to discover the owners had moved away six moths ago. The neighbours remembered him and said what a lovely dog he was, and well looked after at the time, but we do not have any information as to where the owners moved to.
According to his microchip he is 10 years old and full of beans (as can be seen from his photo). He has been checked out by the Putney hospital and he is in great health. He has been placed in boarding until a home can be found for him. Alfie really deserves a second chance so please get in touch at [email protected]
