Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a double decker bus in Church Hill Road, Sutton, on Tuesday, 8 December at 07:05hrs.
Officers arrived to find the Route 93 bus had been in collision with a Daimler car travelling in the opposite direction. The collision led to a trail of damage along the street until the bus had come to a halt.
There was damage to five other vehicles, which were parked by the side of the road or in driveways, two trees, a lamp-post and garden walls. The Daimler car had three males inside - the driver and two passengers.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to the scene and treated four people - three of them from the Daimler - and a passenger on the bus.
Three people were taken by LAS to a south London hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
There was extensive damage to the front of the Daimler. A complete road closure was put in place. The road was not reopened until 13:06hrs later the same day.
Enquiries continue. No arrests.
