Sutton police are reminding car owners not to leave anything in their vehicles after an incident in Carshalton Beeches.
On the 11th January 2016 at 2215 hours a resident of Southway Carshalton Beeches captured on CCTV four males attempting to break into motor vehicles in that road. Apparently they were trying door handles of every car in the street and had posted a look out.
This was a well planned matter, but it appears that nothing was stolen and no damage was caused. The suspects of which there were four of them are described as late teens, the footage is black and white and not of great quality.
Please leave nothing in your motor vehicle, not even leads to a mobile phone etc or the housing for a satnav left on the windscreen, as the temptation for the thief to look further is too great.
