Police in Sutton are appealing for information to locate this vehicle which was stolen along with 1,500 bricks from within the grounds St Philomena’s School, Carshalton, on Tuesday, 16 February at around 19:30hrs.
Three males wearing hi-vis jackets were seen loading the bricks into the back of the vehicle before driving it out of the school grounds and onto Sutton’s streets where it immediately caused tailbacks.
The vehicle was spotted in Wrythe Lane, Carshalton about an hour later at 20:30hrs.
Police believe the vehicle is sufficiently distinctive for the public to remember it. Being electric, it may have run out of power within Sutton Borough or in a neighbouring borough.
