Police have received a report of a dog attack on four sheep in a grazing field off Cuddington Park Close, Cheam, sometime between 11-13 November.
The sheep suffered bite marks and tear marks to their bodies consistent with being attacked by a dog or number of dogs. One sheep was found dead, another two had to be put down by a vet and the fourth has recovered with an ear missing. The surviving sheep have now been moved to a farm.
Local houses in the area have been leafleted as part of the appeal for information.
