Police have made extensive enquiries to locate Simmons and are now appealing to the public for their help.
Simmons is known to frequent the Sutton, Merton and Croydon areas.
Police urge Simmons to give himself up and appeal to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police in confidence.
Police will arrest and prosecute anyone who is found to be assisting an offender who has committed an arrestable offence. This could involve hiding an offender, assisting an offender in avoiding arrest and lying to police to protect the offender from investigation and prosecution.
The maximum sentence for assisting an offender can be up to 10 years imprisonment.
